On Saturday, December 7th, we will be traveling down to Richmond for our annual bus trip to St. Catherine’s School.  Coaches Bucka Watson and Stuart Ferguson always take great care of Seton Swimming when we visit.

Here are the details of the meet, including an overview of the day:

The way that the Delaney Athletic Conference (DAC) determines the regular season champion for boys and girls is by using the scores of a designated meet against each of the other DAC schools starting in January.  For our competition against the most competitive DAC teams, that meet will be on January 4th at the WARF.

So this gives us lots of flexibility with our entries for the Meets in December – we can get lots of times on everyone in multiple events in order to have the best possible data to do our line-up for both the individual and relay events for January 4th.  The goal with our December meet entries is to get as many kids as reasonably possible in at least six (6) different individual events across the three (3) meets.

There are loads of points to be scored in the 200 Free, the 200 IM, the 100 Fly and the 500 Free, so we are particularly looking for swimmers who can help the team in those all important events.  If you are swimming in one of those events this week, take it as a compliment on what we think you can do.  If you want to try one of those events in one of the remaining December meets, send Coach Koehr an e-mail.
