Coach Ashley Keapproth and her 2024 National Catholic Silver Medalist Diver Connor Koehr
On Saturday and Sunday, January 13-14, 2024, we took 28 Seton athletes up to Loyola University of Maryland in Baltimore for the 2024 National Catholic High School Swimming and Diving Championships.
Our boy divers sure made Coach Ashley Keapproth proud! Coach Keapproth placed three (3) divers in the top-8 and three (3) in the top-16! While it won’t last long, our boys are actually winning the meet after diving – we’ll enjoy that for another 30 minutes or so. 😉 Coach Keapproth also saw one of her female divers score in the top-16.

We had two (2) Freshman swimmers who performed exceptionally well in Finals on Sunday:
- Ariana Aldeguer (FR) – two (20 top-8 finishes
- 4th in 500 Free
- 6th in 200 IM
- Lionel Martinez (FR) – two (2) top-16 finishes
- 13th in 500 Free
- 16th in 100 Fly
Our relays were particularly strong with season best times in all of the following relays that scored in the Top-16. We had countless lifetime best relay splits. These results are very encouraging as I look ahead toward States:

I was very proud of all of our athletes this past weekend. With another 22 PRs, our team is up to 874 Personal Records for the season.
