On November 1, 2024, 740 Seton partisans gathered at Foxchase Manor in Manassas, VA to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Seton School, founded by Mrs. Anne Carroll in 1975.
Of the nearly 2,000 total Seton graduates since 1975, 275 were in attendance. In addition to those many former graduates, “The Chief” was joined in the celebration by many dignitaries including Bishop Michael Burbidge, Msgr. Bob Cilinski, and Msgr. Lee Roos.
As part of the event, Mrs. Carroll gave a moving speech that described her view of the past and the present of Seton School and, most importantly, her vision of the principles that should guide us into the future. All of us who are a part of the Seton School community should view this speech as a source document, directly from the founder, for how to carry the school forward over the next 50 years.
