Swimmers, you have all been assigned to a fundraising team with one of our team captains (below).  Once your Captain sets up your team fundraising page on the Cystic Fibrosis fundraising site, you will all be able to begin fundraising.  For now, review this information and push  your captain to get your team’s page set up.

And plan to be on deck at the Freedom Center on New Year’s Eve at 9:39 a.m. to start stretching – whether or not you have done any fundraising.

Fundraising Instructions:

Every year, Seton hosts our own Swim-a-thon for Cystic Fibrosis on New Year’s Eve from 10:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the Freedom Center.   Every swimmer on the team joins us that morning to swim 200 lengths of the pool – you can do it!    Please be on deck ready to stretch at 9:39 a.m.

Even if you cannot make the actual event, please plan on joining the fundraising effort.  Proceeds go to support research into this disease at Johns Hopkins University.

This is a cause that is close to me because, over the years, we have had a number of kids on the Seton Swim Team who have suffered from this disease.

Thank you to Robin and Sarah Given for their leadership for this event.

I have broken down the team down into smaller fundraising teams of swimmers with each team led by a Seton team Captain.

11th Annual Cystic Fibrosis Fundraising Teams-Jan31,2022

Once your team captain has your team set up in the system, getting started with fundraising is as simple as following the step-by-step instructions below to set up your own fundraising page and then blasting out a few e-mails to family and friends with a link your page.

I’d really like to see everyone participate.  Even if you are not planning on swimming, you can certainly help your team fund raise!   Let’s all team up for a great cause!
