On Thursday, January 22nd, Saint Paul VI Catholic High School is hosting a low-key relay carnival at Dulles South Recreation Center (24950 Riding Center Dr, South Riding, VA 20152).

For Seton, the meet is completely optional for Group 1, 2, and 3 swimmers.

Here is the team we have going:

Volunteers:

  • We need to supply four (4) timers – who can help?
  • Thank Charles Meadows for volunteering to be a Stroke & Turn Judge

Here is the Meet schedule:

  • Leave Seton in Seton van: 3:00 p.m.
  • Seton Warm-up – 4:20 to 4:50 p.m.
  • 1st Event – 5:00 p.m.

Logistics:

  • I will have the school van and will be leaving at 3:00 p.m. from Seton
    • The van holds 14 kids and we have 14 kids, so that works out quite nicely
  • If you are coming separately, please be on deck at the Dulles South Rec Complex ready to stretch at 3:59 p.m. – and let me know in advance please so we are not waiting for you.
  • Swimmers should not drive with other non-sibling students.

The meet will feature a mix of relays, including mixed gender relays, plus opportunities to race 25-yards of each stroke.  Each swimmer may swim one (1) individual event and three (3) relays or two (2) individual events and two (2) relays:

Here are our entries.  Remember that the software we use is not smart enough to handle some of these weird relays, so the names on the entry list might not make sense.  Just match the event number with the event description above:
