FREDERICKSBURG, VA, MANASSAS, VA, FAIRFAX, VA, May 20, 2021 – Fredericksburg Christian School, Seton School, and Trinity Christian School announce the formation of a new athletic conference, the Virginia Christian Athletic Conference (VCAC).
The new Virginia Christian Athletic Conference (VCAC) will offer a wide range of sports and will operate under its new mission:
The Virginia Christian Athletic Conference (VCAC) schools’ primary objective is the complete Christian formation of students as image bearers of the God who created them. These athletic programs will serve as an integral part of the overall spiritual, mental, physical, and emotional development of the whole person.
Several other faith-based schools have already expressed interest in joining the new VCAC. The current member schools look forward to adding schools to the conference as it seeks to grow in the coming years. Per the VCAC’s mission, shared values is equally important to competitive compatibility.
The VCAC will compete in the Virginia Independent Schools Athletics Association (VISAA) and competition is expected to start with the 2021 Fall season.
