Below is all the information you need for our Seton Winter Invitational Meet at the Freedom Center on Saturday, January 17, 2026.  Please read it carefully.

Parents from all participating teams, please sign-up to help by using the following Sign-up Genius links:

  • Timers sign up here. Each team has been assigned the responsibility for timing one or more lanes.  See your team’s lane assignments on the warm-up schedule, below.
  • Hospitality contributions here.

These links are also on the Home page of www.setonswimming.org.

The meet will be streamed live on the Seton Swimming Highlights YouTube channel at: https://setonswimming.org/videos/

Our top swimmers and divers will be at National Catholics in Baltimore this weekend with many of our coaches, so there will be NO Diving competition at this meet.  I will come down from Baltimore in time for this Meet and then head right back up when this Meet concludes.

Seton Swimmers should be in the bleachers stretching at 12:39 p.m.   Seton’s in-water warm-up begins at 1:00.

The attachments below contain everything you need to know about the Meet, the Psych Sheet and Meet Program (heat and lane assignments).

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE 500 FREE: Because of the very large number of kids swimming the 500 Free at this meet, we will be running two (2) heats at a time using stopwatches.  Swimmers will swim side-by-side, staying on their side of the lane (i.e., NOT circle swimming)

Here are our entries.  Remember that most of the Varsity team is in Baltimore this weekend for National Catholics so this will be a great opportunity for other swimmers to shine:

Remember that my philosophy for entries during the season is to get kids in the maximum number of different events I can.  It is impossible to do for everyone, but I try to get as many kids as possible to swim all eight (8) individual events during the season.  For the new swimmers, if you haven’t already swum the 500 Free, this Meet will be your chance to get that done!  You can do it.  I know you can because you swim more than that in practice every day.

I’m expecting massive Personal Records at this meet!
