From February 13-15, 2025, 675 athletes from 53 schools converged on the Jeff Rouse Swim & Sport Center in Stafford, VA for the 2025 VISAA State Swimming & Diving Championship.  Here are the results from the weekend’s competition:

Fun Fact: 19 of the 22 swimming events were swum at the All-American “B” standard or better.  9 of those events had two (2) swimmers swim All-American cuts, and the Boys 100 Breaststroke had three (3)!

  3. Boys 200 Medley Relay: 1:39.19, Connor Koehr (SR), Lionel Martinez (SO), Joe Borneman (SR), & Liam Halisky (SR)
  4. Boys 200 Free Relay: 1:29.65, Lionel Martinez (SO), Connor Koehr (SR), Daniel Sokban (SO), Liam Halisky (SR)
    • Beat the 2010 Relay time of 1:30.07 with Jameson Hill, Daniel Koehr, Connor Cook, and David Basinger
  5. Boys Diving, 11 Dives: 70, Connor Koehr (SR)

Seton athletes had another 32 Personal Records, bringing our final team to 1,144 Personal Records for the season!

Fun Fact: As a team, Seton scored 184 total points, and 63.6% of them (117 points) were scored by swimmers who were not experienced USA Swimmers.  I am confident that no school in the VISAA saw that level of scoring from their high-school swimmers.
